In short: A few tough hills, but the very rewarding when they're over. Very friendly and well organised.
In full: This was my first half and loved every minute of it. Some of the hills required a little mental perseverance but that just added to the beauty of it. Great feeling running over the finish.

Very friendly and well organised as far as I can tell. Not sure if they were official marshalls or not - but thanks to the kids who were handing out wine gums!

I hope the guy airlifted out is recovering ok.

In short: A well run, challenging half marathon. Fully enjoyed the run.
In full: Enjoyed the run, certainly a challenging course but very rewarding once you've finished. Thanks to the marshalls and the organisers for a job well done.

In short: A wonderful way to spend Sunday morning
In full: Very enjoyable race thanks. My second Marlow half - ran last year as well. Organisation is excellent, and the many marshalls, water station helpers, etc were brilliant. All friendly and encouraging. I tried to thank them all as I passed.

A hilly one, but you can make up so much time on the down stretches. Got a p.b. today, knocking abut 45 secs of my time last year (which was my previous half p.b.) so am very happy. I think I am more suited to the ups and downs of Marlow than other flatter races. For a 'fun runner', there is potential here if you manage the ups carefully, and speed through the downs.

Was worried that it would be pouring with rain, but actually I found the conditions perfect.

Plan to be back next year. Thanks to everyone who helped with the event.

Hope the person air lifted off is ok.

In short: Enjoyable run through leafy glades
In full: First time at the Marlow half - overall, one of the best half marathons I've done, largely due to friendly and helpful marshall's and lovely scenery that took your mind off some of the punishing hills. Back next year!

In short: A challenging hilly run
In full: Very friendly run in a beautiful part of the Chilterns. Hills steep are energy sapping making PBs fairly impossible
