In short: A Hilly Half !
In full: Simply a lovely race - but those hills keep on coming back. Just when you think you're OK - another looms up !

Luckily the last mile or more is mostly downhill and suddenly the finish line brings on a final push.

In short: Hard hills!!!!
In full: Loved it! Was my first half and I was heading for the two hour mark but we came over at 1m.53s so was well chuffed. Organisation was 1st class, all marshals were outstanding in their direction and support. We had heard that this was the 5th hardest half in the U.K. and I can believe it with some of the extreme hills. Definitely will be back next year hopefully for a Marlow Pb. Downside? Would have preferred a medal really!

In short: just wonderful
In full: What a fabulous race! Yes the hills are punishing but the views from the top are awesome on such a gloriously sunny autumn morning. The route was very clearly marked and marshalled and only a few cars decided to make their way through the melee. The marshalls were unflagging in their support throughout. A special word of thanks to the guy at the baggage tent at the start who, when I discovered I had forgotten to get my iPod out, promptly and efficiently retrieved my bag without a word of complaint 30 secs after I had checked it in..... I aam also delighted to get a long sleeved T shirt instead of a medal. A great deal more useful. Thanks Striders for a brilliant race.

In short: Thank you Marlow Striders
In full: A brilliant race. Marlow Striders prove that you can put on a jolly good race, have dencent support, loads and loads of friendly marshalls.

Hills are hard!! But the downhills make up for it. Scenary fab, with the added bouns of two Red Kites at mile 7!!

Ladies Change tent cosy but most welcome!!!

In short: Great way to spend a November Morning
In full: Marshalls were excellent and course well marked.Nuff said about the hills, but mile 8 makes you dig oh so deep. Still makes for a great race and the finish is fast, so all in all will definitely be back next year .
