In short: Wonderful crisp, sunny, wintery weather. Some nice lanes and scenery, but 2 laps unfortunately means twice down the boring bypass bit for 2 miles each lap. Date of review: November 20, 2005

In short: Flat, fast course. Very well marshalled. In full: A few icy patches but otherwise fairly fast. Well organised and very well marshalled. Nice T shirt (nice mug when T shirts run out). Date of review: November 20, 2005

In short: Excellent all round In full: Ran this in 2002 and 2004. Was lucky to get good conditions (and hence times!) each time - a windy day would make this a nightmare, particularly on the A59 Dual Carriageway. Organisation is excellent. I plan to do this one again in 2005 (Injury permitting!) Date of review: October 2, 2005

In short: 2 laps on mainly quiet country roads, but 2 miles (twice) on a dual carriageway is tedious. Date of review: January 4, 2005

In short: Good fun- fast and fairly well organised. The stretch on the dual carriageway is depressing though! Date of review: November 23, 2004

In short: Fairly flat course so not too hard for a beginner In full: My first 10 mile race so cannot compare with others. It is a fairly flat race so was not too hard for a beginner. Overall seemed well organised but were quite a few road junctions where cars were waiting to get out so probably hard to marshal. I liked the mug memento. Would do again. In short: Very good race and i would do it again, the only snags was no V55 prize and one marshall failing to stop a car from coming at me. Date of review: November 21, 2004
