In short: Very Wet but Smashed my PB
In full: The weather was very wet but as the vast majority of the course is on road / pavement that didn't really matter (if anything it made the race faster). The course is predominantly flat, couple of inclines but nothing that you would call a serious hill and hence this also helps if you want to set a fast time. Though not inspiring much of the course is through woodland areas and fairly pretty but in the rain nothing looks great!

Would do it again, nice medal and glass waiting for you at the end, and well organised, speciall thanks to the marshals who were all cheerful despite being soaked to the bone!!!

In short: Another friendly informal event. shame about the rain
In full: I like this race. Very informal and small with a nice mix of club and unattached runners. Shame about the rain. (it pissed down throughout the race) introducing a few hazards (muddy trail in the middle followed by what one runner referred to as the 'water feature') But everyone was in good spirits including the Marshalls. See you next year.

In short: Great race, Great mud, Great marshalls!
In full: Despite the very wet conditions I matched my PB. Thanks to the brilliant marshalls, bravely enduring the downpours and they all were so cheerful and encouraging! The mud in the wooded stretch wasn't really that bad, it was the lakes across the road that amazed me! Lovely engraved tumbler and medal were great finishing touches to a great race! Well done Lordshill! Be back next year!

In short: Wet but good
In full: I really enjoyed this race. I got my PB today despite the rain and ripping my t-shirt on the gate post at the end of the wooded section. Thank you to the marshall who made sure I was ok! Nice Lordshill 10k tumbler to take home with me as well as my medal. Thank you. Will be back next year.

In short: Cold, wet, in short brilliant! Well marshalled
In full: Personal best achieved today. Gently hilly course, nothing too strenuous. A bit boggy along the tracked section, puddles to make you pick your fit up. Marshals all very helpful and encouraging. Will definitely be back next year.

In short: A very friendly local race
In full: Quite a challenging course, with lots of long inclines. I found the weather hot and humid, and was sweating when just doing a jogging warm up.
Exellent organisation, with friendly helpful marshalls and police.
This is one of my favourite 10Ks.

In short: Very friendly and well organised
In full: Enjoyed this one. Not as hilly as led to believe and only 11 secs short of PB. Good turnout from local unattached runners and smattering of quality club runners. Extremely well marshalled and encouraged by them all the way round. A definite for next year.
