In short: Still one of the world's great races
In full: The weather's not always great, the scenery's nothing to write home about, and the hills aren't easy. But the unique atmosphere, the surreal and special touches, the incredible warmth and sense of humour, and the brilliant, supportive marshals and other volunteers make this one of the best races in the UK and quite probably in the whole world. Year after year, the feedback is staggering. An amazing event.

In short: superb race
In full: This gets better every year. loved the rocket at the start, Chariots of fire to Benny Hill music as mentioned.Marshals were a credit to the club.Nice touch having names on numbers. Chip timing seamed to be wrong but soon corrected. Great T-shirt ,goody bag with radiator key??ruler ,meal worms.etc.A pb of 3 mins off last year made it an enjoyable morning and worth the trip .The course literally goes round the houses but is so varied it passes by in a flash. got 3 coffees at the end-£1.35. Bargain. no complaints at all.

In short: Superb event, brilliant organisation and incredible atmosphere.
In full: Brilliant on so many levels this is a must do race, much as I hate to admit, this race has it all (I want to do it again so dont want to encourage anyone....Oh yes, the goody bag is tat!Where do the marshalls get there enthusiasm (should all be motivational trainers). Tony the compere can only be described as one in amillion and his humour is infectious! Will have to enter early cos I just have to be back again, oops forgot to say New PB (thank you Stockport!!!!)

In short: Good fun, but tough on the legs.
In full: Really good atmosphere. Was my first club-organised race (as opposed to a mass participation one) so I was nervous but my fears of elitism were unfounded. Yes, the field does significantly thin out after the 8min-8min30 milers so if you're a slower runner (like me!) it might get a little lonely but there was still loads of support and the volunteers were second to none. The t-shirt alone is worth it surely? Great race to end the year with.

In short: FAB
In full: Another great event. Don't know what is more surprising each year, the contents of the goody bag or how insanely cheerful the marshals are in rubbish weather.

In short: BEST ORIGINAL RACE OF THE YEAR
In full: Awesome race, words cannot describe everything....just do it and you will experience the unexpected & weird joy of doing the Stockport 10! Keep up the good work guys/girls.
I have only 1 tiny moan in that last years Tech T (more mile) was a much better fit than this yrs Ron Hill.....the sleeves are mega long, hope you revert back to the more mile.

In short: Didn't like the wind, rain and cold. Did like the hills, hi vis tech t-shirt, hot shower, personalised running number, rocket firework boom to start the race and Benny Hill theme music to escort us around the track and out of the stadi

In short: Great organisation and enthusiastic marshals on a challenging course
In full: This remains my Favorite race of the year from the Benny Hill as we scampered round the track at the start to all the runners getting a name check on the run in to the finish from Tony Great organisation and enthusiasm.
