In short: A credit to Reading !!! Amazing atmosphere around the route.
In full: Plenty of positives about this Half Marathon.

1. Amazing atmosphere and support around the route.
2. Excellent venue and race route.
3. Easy car parking [with a portaloo :~) available].
4. Fantastic water/drinks stations - well manned and well positioned.
5. Plenty of toilet facilities along the course.
6. Super stadium finish - just loved that finish !!!
7. Slick organisation at the finish - blanket/drink/chip removal/memento/goodie bag.
8. Excellent pace runners and Marshalls.
9. Race results available really quickly with split times.
10. Plenty of e-mails keeping runners updated prior to event and post event.
11. Goodie bag was well stocked.
12. T-shirts were technical t-shirts therefore worth buying.
13. Mementos are lovely - good quality and a nice keepsake (with the option to have them personalised).

Just a couple of constructive observations.

1. Race numbers/t-shirts sent out a bit too close to race day.
2. Late race start.
3. Massive crowds funnelling from the race village to the green/white race line.
4. Car parking - possibly a tad expensive.

I managed a PW (it felt like I was running through treacle and I was totally fatigued during the last three miles) but I had such a great time with all the bands and supporters, my time doesn’t even matter.
If I enter only one race next year, it will be this one.
Thank You Reading !!!!!

In short: Brilliant organisation and fantastic support all the way round - amazing finish!
In full: Although getting to the start can be a little chaotic after 2 minutes running you'll soon forget that as the crowds cheer you round, a steel bands encourages you through the 6th mile and you head for the finish in the stadium. All in all a brilliant race once again.

In short: Great race and organisation again!!
In full: 2nd time I've done this race and enjoyed it just as much this time. Well organised, good marshalling, the route isn't too bad apart from the last couple of miles but the finish in the stadium is superb. Good PB potential, in fact I knocked over 12 mins off mine. Will be back again next year!! Well done Reading!!

In short: A great finish in the Stadium, pity about the chaotic start
In full: A good event, marred by a chaotic start. Please sort it for next year or reduce the number of runners, impossible to get to white/green start. Fantastic support all around the course though, plenty of water stations and loos and a brilliant finish in the Stadium.

In short: Big-Race event, awesome finish in the stadium
In full: Well organised event, with many water and sport-drink stations en-route.
Great medal and goody bag. Only the start area was a bit chaotic to get to your correct pen.

In short: A great run if you're a 1st timer for a half or looking for a PB.
In full: Loved this run. Bag handling was amazing. No queues for toilets. No big queues for drinks or food. Space to get changed was a little bit of a hindrance but no big deal. Start lines were a bit chaotic. No easy access to predicted start time area unless you arrived very early. Required one to jump fence to get in the correct area. You need to be at the front of your predicted start time area in order to get a PB and not get delayed by the many many ppl clearly in the wrong start zones. Finishing in the Madejski football stadium was a great touch.

In short: Huge, well organised and great atmosphere.
In full: There's so many people, I crossed the start line 10 minutes after the start and the leaders were already on the second mile! Fabulous atmosphere and would love to do it again.
