In short: A must race in your calendar In full: Fantastic day out in the warm sunshine over a some very undulating terrain. Train hard for the hills (especially the steep downhill sections!). Stunning scenery. A very well organised, super friendly club run event that puts a lot of larger events to shame. Cakes at the end were magnificent. Huge thanks to everyone involved in putting it on. Be back next year for sure! Date of review: June 23, 2014
In short: Wonderful race, magnificent scenery, friendly encouraging marshals. Do it! In full: A tough race made harder by the heat at 26degrees it was hard. Held up at the beginning by slower runners on the single file parts of the track. The scenery was glorious until you realised that you would have to climb that lovely hill in the distance. A very-well organised race with frequent and encouraging marshals. Date of review: June 23, 2014
In short: Bloody hilly In full: 3rd time running this race as a member of Harvel Hash House Harriers have experienced it from the marshalling side too and it is very well organised. Always a very arduous race but the cakes at the finish alone are worth it! This year again a fantastic race they even ordered sunshine in! Top work I&I Harriers. See u next year. In short: Well organised and very friendly. In full: What a race, hard, challenging, but runs like clockwork. Really well marked out course with lovely Marshall's, ultra helpful and supporting. Great goody bags and tee shirts. Water stations were regular which was much appreciated on a hot day. Even the locals were out with their hoses to cool the runners down. Loved the sponges supplied as well. Date of review: June 22, 2014
In short: Everything is awesome In full: superb event. Well done for putting on such a brilliant event. Challenging course, particularly in the heat, but the support en route was excellent with plenty of water and jelly babies, and even the occasional shower. More than happy with the medal, t shirt and bag. Felt pampered at the finish with the friendly handshake, coffee and cakes and loads of fruit. Nobody puts on a race like a good running club.

In short: Deserving of its reputation In full: I'm no stranger to hilly trail runs and I was aware of the comments regarding the difficulty of this course, but this was still a toughie in the blazing heat.
This event is well organised, the atmosphere is great, the marshalls were fab and the music, tea and cakes at the end just add to the incredible charm of this run.
If you keep your head up some of the scenery on this route will make your jaw drop. This is a special one. Date of review: June 22, 2014
In short: Hardest race I've ever done but so well organised it was brilliant . Loads of water stations every 5k which was really needed and even marshalls in between the water stations offered me drink when I was struggling . Thanks you Istead and Ifield Date of review: June 22, 2014
