In short: a great race
In full: an excellent race ... i really like 10ks and this was one of the better ones. Really helped by the sunny weather. Quite hilly - if you were not going up you were coming down. None too steep, but the 1k hill between 4&5 k was .... interesting!

In short: Wonderful race on a lovely day.
In full: Great variety of scenery and running surfaces, very slick organisation and superb selection of goodies at the end. Even the hills seemed easier today.

In short: Tremendous support from the marshals
In full: Fantastic, mainly off-road course with a couple of really tough hills. Great organisation and friendly marshals.

I loved the Waitrose Bag for Life with a banana, a proper bottle of water and a decent heavyweight t-shirt.

The environmental touch with separate bins for plastic bottles and banana skins was cool.

All of this for just £ 6.00. I pay a lot more in other races and don't get half as much.

I'll definitely be back next year. Well done Saffron Striders.
