In short: The Best Multi-terrane race I have ever competed in!
In full: A brilliant race in a wonderful part of the world, amazing organisation, the most friendly marshals and a challenging course. I'll be back!

In short: The Grizzly lives up to its name once again!
In full: It's not often that I am left speechless, but, once again, left with little to say.
The East Devon welcome and enthusiasm was with us all weekend from the kids race right through until the hose down!
Many events I say nver again, the Grizzly makes me want it to happen again the next day! And yes even with those dead legs!
Thank you to all of the organisers and marshals, your energy was certainly needed on those energy sapping hills!

In short: Hard as nails but absolutely fantastic
In full: Can't really add anything to what has already been said. Runners and supporters quite literally take over the whole town for a weekend with events. Shops, pubs, etc. all welcome people who are in a state they would usually be turned away and are interested in how you got on!!! The organisation is incredible. Every single marshall was smiling and encouraging. The course changes every year so it really keeps you guessing where next - but its never easy. This is my absolutely favourite race - thank you Gary and AVR, please please keep up the good work.

In short: This was my 1st attempt at the Grizzly & I can't wait to do it all again next year!!!
In full: What a fantastic race! Very tough & challenging but extremely enjoyable at the same time. The organisation & marshals involved were fantastic and full of encouragement all the way around the course. The legendary bogs lived up to their reputation. The scenery was breathtaking, helped by the glorious weather. Great technical t-shirt & a very tasty 25th anniversary cake to all finishers was a nice touch.
Well done to all involved.

In short: I loved it ( most of the time). I want to thank the runners and the policeman who helped me with my cramp at mile 19. Your encouragement and practricxal support got me to the finish and typified the spirit of the occasion. Brilliant!

In short: Best race of the year
In full: I almost want to run this race down, just so I make sure I get my place in next years event... This is my favourite race of the year, and possibly my favourite weekend of the year too. From the superb organisation, the magnificent scenery, the challenge of the race, and even the superb weather this year, the Grizzly has no peers in my eyes. Its far more than a race now, with the whole weekend of events taking over Seaton. For all you road-runners plugged into ipods with music playing away, this is what running should be about. The camaraderee is sensational, runners chatting and laughing all way round, supporting each other. On top of all this the race makes large amounts of money for good causes.
Well done AVR and Gary...
