In short: Everything Bath, Bristol and Cardiff were not
In full: This is how to run an event

Even though both a half and a full marathon involved organisation was like clockwork

The race directors of Bath, Bristol and Cardiff should be on the phone to the organisers of Taunton to learn how to organise a race

Excellent, well done Taunton, I am even more ashamed of my home town Bath, than I was three weeks ago

In short: great race with lots of friendly marshalls
In full: Will be back next year, great race round my home town (now living in Bristol for past 26 years. It was a shame that I was recovering from a mother of all colds as I would normally expect to be able to do a PB on this gently undulating course.

In short: Proud of Local Race
In full: Did Bath 3 weeks ( First Half ) ago so incomparison this race was the bizz.
Live local and left the house, walked through the park and ready and off running within half hour, 10.30 on the dot. Quite crowed at the start but soon thinned out. I dreaded Rumwell Hill and had every reason, fairly steep at about 9 miles. Good weather, Good crowds, Nice Medal, Nice T Shirt and although only my second half, i now have a personel best too...

In short: Lovely day for it - sunny and cold - well organised and marshaled
In full: A snowy start turned into an ideal day - cold and sunny. Nice venue for the start and started dead on time (Bath please note!. Nice scenery in parts, that hill was somewhat unwelcome towards the end though! still managaed a pb. Had my medal and t-shirt within 5 minutes of finishing (again Bath please note). Friendly and encouraging marshals all the way round. The only problem was mixing with the traffic - thanks especially to the jag driver who brought me to a standstill on a hump-back bridge in his haste to get past the pesky runners in his path!!! - still a good day for a good run and will definately do it again. Once again the smaller events show the larger ones how to do it!

In short: snowy morning but great run
In full: a great race, the organisation very good but one could fault the organisation for the parking inside the college grounds as no one could leave. But the run itself was excellent, good route and not that conjested. very good for a PB as it is mainly flat. i ran a PB myself.

In short: Cracking organisation, teasing course, great race
In full: Well done, Taunton. Immaculately organised occasion. Pleased not to have been doing two laps on what as an undulating course with a sapping wind in places. Highly recommended.
