In short: A really enjoyable & unusual race.
In full: Glad I listened to my fellow club runners & took the plunge. Very enjoyable & unusual race. Well organised. A race to do for the right reasons & not worry about the time, just the taking part.
Water not as bad as expected. Steps were hard at the end. Yesterday's cross country starting to take its toll.
Minute's silence at the start was a good decision. Make's you realise can't take life for granted. Enjoy life!

In short: I had forget how hard it was till about 2 minutes after the race began.
In full: Water obstacle is great. I think organisers ought to tweak course so that runners have to go up stream against current for 50 metres or so before they get to cross the other side. Spectators would like it and it would be in keeping with name of the race. Jumping the log was another nice addition to make it an adventure run. Great fun and very challenging. More of the same please...

In short: Beware of the steps at the end! What a killer!
In full: Quality day, very muddy course and you could easily lose a shoe at certain points. The water feature was very refreshing and woke the legs up. The Steps at the end were painful, although had enough left in the legs for a sprint finish! Very slippy and saw quite a few people go over on there ass! Weather was mild and sunny, so all good!
