In short: Good race two tough climbs and a few smaller , glad the ford was dry.
In full: A good race, friendly marshals.Pity there was no t-shirt and no water at the finish.I was 1-30 quicker here than Thanet on a tougher course so pb,s are possible. Will be back next year work permitting.

In short: A well organised event from Invicta East Kent, very enjoyable course (even with the hill work). To conclude, a good way to start 2008!e

In short: My first race - a great experience
In full: My first 'proper' race during my training for FLM. Everyone very friendly & helpful. Scenery good & roads quiet, hills felt tough at the time. Especially enjoyed the conversations while we waited to start...other people thinking the same as me - bizarre!

In short: Well organised, hills were tough.
In full: Hats off to the organisers, very well put on. The race itself had a good range of competitors 20 under 60 mins!

In short: The scenery makes it!
In full: This is always a friendly race and I'm so impressed at how well the organisers fix the weather every year! Lots of support in the final stages. Loved the little boy handing out the medals and concentrating so hard on saying Well Done! Unlike many others, I prefer the medal! Full marks to Barretts for sponsoring it but I've no passionate desire to advertise for them!

In short: Good, BUT
In full: This is the second time I have done this race. Last year I got a longsleeved top which has come in very useful, this year I got a medal which will go in a drawer with the others.

The marshalls out on the course were very supportive, but the start was chaotic, people did not know when we were off.

The Park and Ride was a good idea but nobody was able to tell me where the bus left from on the way back and yet there were signs up on the road back telling you how to get back to the Park and Ride. A nice big one where the bus started from would have been helpful. I asked two marshalls and a policeman who each gave me a different answer and so ended up walking back to the Car Park

In short: Very friendly, a nice route and well marshalled
In full: This was my first ever race and I think I chose well. Everyone was very friendly, the route was quite picturesque, if a little tough (the hill at 4 miles was a killer)and the locals came out to cheer us on. An unforgettable day for me and I would definately do it again.
