In short: My first half....loved it. Brilliant marshelling, very well organised. The start whistle not clear...a few of us were not sure whether the race had started or not. But a great run, definately will do again...and inspired me to do others.

In short: Good value race.
In full: Very enjoyable run. Nice hills to get the ticker going. Dont do this run if your going for a pb, it just wont happen!! Friendly marshalls and organised well. Even if my number did get lost in the post (Thats not exactly there fault!!) Only gripe was the medal was rubbish. But I dont just run for the medal so hopfully we'll meet again IOW!

In short: Bloody brutal hills
In full: Loved the people--everyone was very supportive to non affiliated people like me...I did not train enough for these kinds of hills, though! Refreshments at the end were a little limited but the warm people made up for it.

In full: Not a bbad race - good trip to the IOW - Start /Finish area close to Sandown station so that was good for people without carss. Clubhouse - Rugby a bit cramped - but showers good at end. A good mix of runners and partly used as a training run for the autumn marathon races ie Berlin, Beachy Head, Florence etc. Still still worth doing though.

In short: More hills than I was expecting. I will need to do some hill training if I'm to do this again.
In full: I thought it was a very nice race and twined with a holiday made it more special. However as I'm used to flat runs like Bristol, Bath and Cardiff this was a bit harder than I was expecting.
However water stops were great and I found the sponge stops very refreshing for the price this puts the bigger more expensive races to shame.

In short: Enjoyable mildly challenging course
In full: This course represents a mild challenge, with quite a few subtle hills that you may not consider as challenging by themselves but when they are all put together can provide a nice test!
Traffic wasn't too bad actually, and the route was pretty good, taking in some nice scenary!
I found the marshalling to be pretty good, but there was one particular corner in a rural area where if i had not got another runner in view I could of totally gone off course. But all the marshalls who were doing their jobs done a fantastic job!
The water and spongue stations on route were placed superbly and were well stocked, but the refreshments at the end were somewhat lacking!
The medal was nice, but the lack of a ribbon to hang it on was a little confusing (this is a first for me!)
There was definately a lot of club runners but the usual clicheness that goes with this was not in evidence here, totally welcoming and friendly!
I had a great time running this race and would come back and do it again!

In short: Be ready for hills! Nothing ridiculous though, just enough to get you working nicely! Nice route and good water stop/sponge placement.

In full: Excellent race, lots of brilliant hills, marshalls and crowds were great. Only finished a minute outside my PB so training for the Isle of Wight Marathon seems to be on schedule.

In short: onwards and upwards
In full: If there was one thing I was expecting from 'undulating' it was some downhill! It seemed a never ending incline! All the same, I really enjoyed the race. A lot of grunt needed to keep on going up the hills so very satisfying to get across the finish line. It seemed a fast field given the number of those warming up in earnest but it ended up being a good mix. Very warm day, glad of the marshalls, sponges and water stations. Perhaps could've started earlier but the organisers obviously have good reasons. 11am start makes for a decent breakfast so won't complain too much
