In full: Great race. Every runner must do this race at least once. Very fast course. I smashed my 10k Time by two and a half minutes. Very well organised would definetly do it again

In short: Fast two lap course of Silverstone, took 5 mins off my PB! Getting a water bottle at the end made a nice touch.

In full: where to start. Ran a pb that was 40.19 / 20 but a tale to tell. Organisation excellent and a high turnout helped create a great atmosphere. A chip on the number what could possibly go wrong. Started, got moving then a large person appeared tumbling. He grabbed another runner and pulled him over and grabbed me and ripped my vest and my number clean off.Regained my footing and got a pb. Gutted my chip had gone. Felt really strong last 400 and could have sprinted a few more seconds off. Definately recommend this race.

In short: An Excelent nigth out, with a wonderfully springy surface to run on. It is the sound of nearly a 1000 feet that makes the nigth sound really great

In short: My favourite event so far.
In full: Admittedly, I've only run half a dozen events, but this was the best.

Easy to find, easy to park, loads of clean toilets! Well organised and great marshalls.

There were a lot of club runners, and the pace was fast - but as I improved on my PB by over 2 minutes, I'm delighted.

Being a newbie, I don't have a box of discarded medals gathering dust yet - so one for the collection is always a bonus.

In short: Definite PB potential, well organised
In full: PB potential, great organisation, I did not mind the scant goody bag as the price reflected that. Got a PB and will definitely be back, as it is nice to run on a fairly flat traffic free surface. The only downside was the scenery, as an F1 fan I thought I would be interested for longer, but I guess when you are not there for F1 it is just a track to run on.

In short: A course that is designed for speed
In full: Easy to park. Signing up on the evening was straightforward. The course is ideal for a PB attempt. There isn't too much congestion at the start and it's relatively flat all round and of course traffic free.

In short: Definitel PB potential
In full: Very good organisation from arriving in the car park to the finish – it made the half-marathon at the same venue look like a shambles.

OK, the track itself isn’t all that exciting, but does it really matter when you’ve got a flat, fast traffic free course?

Quite rightly this race attracts a very big field of all abilities, and has definite PB potential – you just seem to be swept along.

As for the water bottle, I thought it was a really nice touch. In previous years there has been no memento at all, so to provide that plus chip timing all for a tenner (on the day) seems like really good value for money to me. Plus, the water bottle is much more use to me than the usual extra-large t-shirt that ends up at the charity shop, or a medal which ends up in a box in the garage.
