In short: A well organised event with good crowd support
In full: What can I say? Achieved a PB in this one and will suspect it will take a few days to come down off Cloud 9. A very well organised event. Hadn't done it before despite being local, but pleasing to see that the organisers had obviously taken constructive comments from previous years to heart and acted on them (eg use of chip timing). The races that listen to the runners will be the ones that continue to prosper. Good atmosphere at start muster point, with plenty of facilities. You have to say that the course was not the most visually exciting out on the Ring Roads, but then, as Basil Fawlty would say "what did you expect to see from a Torquay Hotel bedroom window"? Great crowd support despite the rain, and a flat second half of the course made me feel like I was flying home. Can definitely recommend this one and will do it again. Just one minor niggle - the medal was a bit uninspiring with the sponsors logo much too dominant (although c'est la vie, no sponsor, no race I guess).

In short: Best organised race I've been to.
In full: Well organised, good course (nice variety), good drinks stations (high5 appreciated!), and I got a PB. Missed a few of the mile markers which was a shame. Overall 10/10

In short: Start was much better than last year. Less support, but it was chucking it down. And the hills don't get any shorter!

In short: A bit hilly but okay
In full: That drag up the hill was a swine but plodding down the other side was a relief. Not a pretty route but the grey day did'nt help but I was grateful for the cooling rain. Might do it again as I am fairly local

In short: My first experience of this race: Great atmosphere and a good day out!
In full: Although the first 6-7miles offer some long hills, the 2nd half of the race is down-hill or flat and could provide a PB opportunity.

In short: Good solid city half marathon.
In full: Improved start with corporate challenge teams starting 8 mins after main field. starting pens for specific times created to ensure fun runners did not go to close to the front prior to the start
