In short: Pleasant run on a sunny Sunday
In full: This race just needs a few tweaks to make it perfect.

More loos for a start - I always head straight for the loo queue anyway but it took a long time to actually get into one, think I was waiting for about 20 minutes!

Secondly I agree with the peson who said the water stations were too close together. The first one needs to be at about 4k - in fact pretty much directly opposite where the 8k one was on the other side of the road.

Thirdly, my legs had had just about had enough at the end of the race so I wasn't capable of a sprint finish but the course was too congested for one anyway, what on earth were the spectators doing lining the road on the right hand side???

So all in all, pretty good organisation but not quite perfect - you can do it guys, I'll be back next year to check :-)

In short: was ok but.....
In full: Found the organisation was fine.....but thought the route was pretty boring....it could have beed a big park in any city.
Nothing special...but a fast flat course all the same... big up to Buster....!!

In short: Fast and flat
In full: Great organisation made this an enjoyable race; well-organised wave starts, although the course did narrow in some points. Good pre-race information however made sure this was expected. Excellent PB-potential, nice scenery, and very beginner friendly. Also excellent course for taking a good long look at the elites whizz past! Will be back to try and catch up with them next year.

In short: well organised event considering the numbers taking part
In full: Pre event good advice; on the day, plenty of signage and liked the water bottles being available before the race; toilets for men perfect but clearly not enough portaloos; course interesting but lacking some atmosphere considering the number of runners; goodie bag appreciated; will be back next year

In short: Too many people on a tight track with not enough facillities
In full: For an evewnt this size, I expected there to be better facillities for baggage and toilettes before the race and then for better water points and toilets during the race.
The course was interesting but far too tight for the volume of people in the event. I ran 10.91km and would have got a pb if I only had to run 10km.
For an event this size, I expected there to be plenty of 'emtertainment' along the route but apart from a couple of token bands, there was nothing.
The goodie bag seemed quite full but did not make up for the other disappointments.

In short: Fantastic organisation, lovely scenery, great for beginners/experienced runners
In full: The first time I've raced in town and what a treat! Starting in waves was well organised, except for the odd few walkers to bypass. Will definitely do this race again and not just stick to leafy Surrey. Only criticism was not enough music throughout the course expected more as it was Capital FM sponsored - steel band and those on stilts brilliant!

In short: Great PB Potential
In full: Overall a great race to run. Made for beginners as well as seasoned runners. Great medal and goody bag. T-Shirt is a good one. Water is the only gripe. Half the size of bottle is needed to prevent waste. On a positive note, enough water on a hot day.

In short: Great course with PB potential
In full: As last year a well organised race with phased starts, a friendly atmosphere, goos supposr around the course and definite PB potential. 2 water stations and a cooling shower were much appreciated even though it wasn't too warm.

2 comments regarding the water;
- 500ml bottles were too large and many were thrown to the side barely touched.
- The water station marshalls taking the tops off completely whilst helpful, made it very difficult to run whilst carrying the water without soaking everyone near you.

Apart from that, no complaints (fortunately I'd used the loos before the queues grew excessive) and I'll definitely be back next year

In short: Nice weather , Medal, Goody Bag, nice park....
In full: I had to use the baggage tent as l travelled on my own today and had no-one to hold my bag, pleased to say it was a joy to use, retrieved very quickly without any problems, l witnessed the chaos from a distance last year glad to see they made it go smoothly. My 2nd time here an enjoyable run and the crowd and marshalls were supportive, 800 metres to go l felt great, 200 metres to go l faded badly took all my energy to cross the line. But hey lovely medal and goody bag and l feel happy and the weather was beautiful too.
