In short: Great race, Excellent support. Well done Potters In full: This is the fourth time I have completed this race and despite the rainy weather, support from people round the course was outstanding. Tough course but worth every penny. Date of review: June 12, 2011
In short: Hilly in places, today was incredibly wet, but still good support form the crowd In full: Organised like clock work through a city and housing estates, great support despite the atrocious weather. Well worth sticking on your calender for next year. Date of review: June 12, 2011
In full: In short very well organised race.Excellant value.Medal, plate and teeshirt! Dreadful weather but great support from crowds and marshalls.Heartbreak hill as tough as everyone said. One to definately do again.Well done to organisers
In short: Wet, tough but great fun!q In full: Second time running this race and it was just as good as 2010. The weather did have the potential to make this a miserable race but the supporters and friendly marshalls made a massive difference. It is appreciated, especially as they were stood in the pouring rain.
The course is not the easiest and Milton Rd hill is a killer!
The day was organised well and the plate was a nice touch this year, didn't expect that!
Overall a tough track but great support and decent medal, well worth the money! Date of review: June 12, 2011
In short: Challenging half marathon with great reputation thoroughly deserved. In full: wet, wet, wet and windy. Once again great half very well organised and well supported around course although due to poor weather, not as many cheering as normal. Challenging course and all the better for it. Well done Ken Rushton et al ! See you all next year. Date of review: June 12, 2011
In short: Ouch! Who put that bloody big hill right at the end?! In full: My local Half Marathon, a real tough cookie! Well organised at the start, fantastic support all the way round, great marshalls and a great finish right in the city centre. The course is a real challenge, lots of hills, seemed like the were all uphill as well! The final hill at Milton Road is an absolute heartbreaker but once that's done its an easy cruise into the city centre for a glorious finish! Date of review: January 29, 2011
