In short: A well organised potential PB smasher
In full: A very well organised event with chip timing, baggage store and warm up routes.
Some of the roads were very busy but the marshals were plentiful and very supportive, a factor which combined with the firm surface and lightly undulating route to make the race a potential PB smasher.
Post-race yoghurt drinks, fruit and and a really useful technical 'T' shirt rounded off a perfect morning.

In short: a great race! for the fastest to the toatal beginner
In full: this is the 3rd time i have ran this race. i ran it in 2007 with just the 5 of us from our local gym run club. last year there were over 20 of us from our gym run club. this year, as an affiliated running club ( Hitchin Running Club) we had over 30 runners, and it was the best turn out so far. long may it continue! on a personal level, i thought roger (race director) and all the marshalls (notably lisa thackery, teresa northy and jon hunt!) and al the marshalls as ever, did a fantastic job. i would advise anyone and everyone to come and race, support or get involved in some way with this race each and every year.

In short: Terrific race!
In full: Thanks to all involved in the organisation before and during the race. It was an extremely well-organised and, thus, enjoyable race. Very good t-shirt - just what I need to keep running throughout the winter!
