In short: Good fun, and the calories in the chocolate egg almost perfectly balance the ones burnt off!
In full: I did one of the 5k races organised by the Yeovil RRC last year and was encouraged by the experience to return for the Easter Bunny. The distance is ideal for a newbie - challenging for a relative beginner, but far enough to justify the trip - whilst the flat course enables you to keep to your own suitable pace and the atmosphere is friendly.

In short: Fast flat course, Easter egg, T-shirt and pb.
In full: 3rd time I've run in this well organised event. Good value. Great T-shirt was an unexpected extra. Fast relatively flat course produced a new pb for me so well pleased.

In short: Flat and fair. Well marshalled and well organized.
In full: My second YTRRC event and both have been smoothly run events. This was very well marshalled over potentially busy roads and a free t-shirt in addition to the chocolate egg was most generous. If, like me, you're interested in running courses rather that times this is a bit of a flat and mundane route but, in all fairness, this was clearly stated in all pre-race bumpf.

In short: A super little 10K, & great value.
In full: I was very impressed by this 10K. I travelled a fair old way to run it, and encountered horrible bank holiday traffic on the way back to do so, but it was worth every minute of the journey. The organisation and marshalling was spot on, and whilst the supporting crowds were small it was very friendly. It was also great value. As an affiliated runner I paid £6 for the pleasure of racing, and also got an Easter egg and a t-shirt for this fee (due to it being Yeovil RCC's 25th Anniversary this year). I got a PB too, and I'll definitely be making the trip again next year.
