In short: 15 years since I last did this race cant think why its taken me so long to return, and will tell my club mates all about . The marshalls did a excellent job on a cold wet day well done Fleet hope to be back with team mates next year. Date of review: March 18, 2013
In short: 4th time and always delivers - great organisation despite hideous weather In full: I love this race but may be biased living on the route in Fleet! It is always really well organised and this year was no exception. The marshals were superb with loads of encouraging words (especially the guy just after the 8 mile mark!!!) and the best thing is the fantastic support through the town centre. Can't wait until next year Date of review: March 18, 2013
In short: Great Organisation, friendly marshalls, lovely scenic route In full: Felt like a real community race - shame about the weather but lots of enthusiastic supporters en route, nightmare hill at the end , very efficient baggage drop, lovely scenery and close roads were a real bonus - will definitely do it again Date of review: March 18, 2013
In short: A very good route that is well supported In full: Despite the terrible conditions this was again well organised. The crowds were out in the rain and give amazing encouragement. Date of review: March 18, 2013
In short: Terrific support despite awful weather In full: I really enjoyed this race the first five miles around the town flew by and meant that by the time you headed out into the country you were nearly half way (ish). Lovely little country roads must be lovely in good weather! Despite the cold and rain marshals were unfailingly cheerful and encouraging and so many locals came out to support - huge thanks to all involved. My second HM after the (overrated) Royal Parks half and pb'd by 7 minutes so I'm happy :).
Hopefully the locals will forgive us for turning Calthorpe Park into a mud bath ... Date of review: March 18, 2013
