In short: Excellent organisation and very scenic route
In full: Although I personally had a dreadful run for various reasons, the race organisation was second to none with friendly marshalls guiding you around the rural route and water stations every 2 miles or so.
A lovely medal and shoe bag at the end although I'm not sure about the sticky doughnut, unwrapped, at the bottoom of a carrier bag!
There were plenty of places for spectators to catch up with the runners along the route and the park setting ensured the kids were entertained during and after my run.
Will definitely put one of these races on my calendar for next year.

In short: Great day out!
In full: This was my second 10k and should have been a PB as the course was so flat it is unbelievable. The heat 26 degrees, was a killer!!

The only thing the organisers could not have planned for was the heat, everything else went like clockwork, I cannot wait for next year.

In short: Flat, Friendly, and really well organised
In full: Having three races at the same time, two of which neet coaches to get to the start, (included in entry), must be a logistical nightmare, but the organisation was great. Fast flat course, and sensible limits so no hold ups. Also despite the really hot weather there were plenty of water stations (on the 10K at least - don't know about the half or marathon) - there are a few big races down south that could learn from this ! Decent T shirt too !

In short: Hot Hot HOT!
In full: Very well organised race. I did the half and there were the perfect number of water stations on an incredibly hot day. Heat damaged pb potential but otherwise could be very quick. Will def be back in 2006 legs willing.

In short: Another well organised Moray Marathon event
In full: Man was it hot. Last year it was the wind, this year it was the heat that took its toll on a number of runners on the course. I ran the 1/2 marathon and thought that once again this was an extremely well organised event. Plenty of (much needed) water stations, excellent and friendly marshalls (particularly the older lady welcoming everyone to Lossiemouth) and good reception facilities at the end of the race. Again with plenty of water. See you all next year.

In short: Aside from the heat, an excellent race with great PB potential
In full: This is a review of the Half, as there is no review link and that race page..... Great organisation and great scenery. How could you go wrong with coast line, forest, harbour etc.. Only problem today was the intense heat and no wind. I could imagine this race being one of Scotlands 'must do' races for anyones calander. Thought, beforehand, that the organisation would be mixed up as it's 3 races in one but no, they certainly did themselves proud. Lovely flat course with great scenery and an ideal race for anyone wanting a pleasant experience for their first half/full marathon. Considering training for this one as my first full marathon next year. Will be great as long as the weather isn't as this years. Congratulations to the organisers, helpers and a real credit to the maray runners. I'll see you all next year for definate.
