In short: A never-ending supply of hills, but fabulous scenery
In full: Hated it last year, but loved it this year. Taking it slow at the start meant I had just enough energy to run down some of the seven sisters. The food/water stops were great and the support from marshalls, friends and family most welcome.
The views are stunning, so take time to enjoy them on the way round.

In short: TOUGH, TOUGH, TOUGH and did I mention TOUGH!!
In full: This is the hardest race I have ever done, even though there are down hill parts, I don't remember them as it felt like I ran up hill for 26.2 miles!! Very beautiful scenery and one of the prettiest races I have ever taken part in. Would recommend this to anyone who likes a challenge, but don't under estimate how hilly this race is..............there is just one long enduring, hill after another. The support is great. The the piper playing on the steps in the middle of the wood is a nice touch, really picked me up. Thank you

In short: A great day out. I started off not properly hydrated but the feeding stations were excellent and revived me enough to enjoy the 7 sisters finale.
In full: Excellent marshalling and water/food stations. I was in a rush to get away so didn't sample the complimentary jacket spud etc provided for finishers. The weather plays a great part in this race - it's the second time I've run it and both times it has been mild and even sunny. There was a bit of a breeze this time but thankfully it was behind us on the hills. I think I will be doing this run again next year.

In short: Brilliant
In full: This was my 4th time on this course but the first time I'd opted to walk rather than run. Thoroughly enjoyed it despite sore feet at the end. The weather was glorious - the marshals plentiful and friendly and encouraging - plenty of drinks and snacks, then the icing on the cake - at 20 miles I met up with an old friend I'd not seen for years and we spent the last 6 miles catching up on the last .... years. Great. Thanks to all the organisers for another brilliant event.
