In short: Brilliant marathon but watch out for the hill at mile 18 !
In full: Excellent event. Massive thanks for a great marathon. From the event organisers to the girls handing out wine gums at mile 17 this was a class run. Absolute killer hill at mile 18. I was running in treacle for a good while trying to get over it. The spectators were great, marshalls were spot on, scenary and finish was fantastic, goody bag was grand and the food at the end was an excellent touch. 11 outa 10. Paul Burns

In short: Truly Amazing Marathon...Well Done Baxters!!!
In full: Everything about this event was fantastic, and I am very happy to have been a part of it. Everyone along the course (water/drink stations, marshalls, first aiders, spectators - and fellow runners) were encouraging and friendly, and made the day special.

The scenery was out of this world, and it really helped when the going got tough!

Well done to the organizers - they did a first class job! Thanks should also go to the catering staff at the end of the race, and the pre-race pasta party.

Quality goody bag and fab tee-shirt.

All and all, BRILLIANT - will be back next year!

In short: Great weather, great scenery, very friendly and well organised.
In full: Did this event last year but the weather made it even better this year. No spectators for much of the route but where there was it was great. Can't imagine a marathon with better scenery, even the bus ride to the start was lovely. As last year, the organisation was spot on and the marshalls and volunteers were friendly, efficient and helpful. Big thanks to everyone for a fantastic event.

In short: better than london?
In full: this was my first loch ness marathon an it certainly wont be the last. what a great idea it was to have a marathon in one of the most scenic parts of scotland. i done the edinburgh marathon earlier in the year but loch ness has to be the better of the two.from the enthusiasm of the support along the route, the organization, goody bag(edinburgh take note) and the scenery it made it an enjoyable day

In short: I defy anyone to find a better marathon!
In full: What a wonderful race! The whole thing was wonderful, from the scenery, the hills (yes the hills!), the supporters handing out drinks and the locals cheering us on. I could not have asked for anything better for my first marathon - I loved every single minute of it and can't wait to do it again!
