In short: YIPPEE!
In full: A glorious day for a super race. Weather changed for the better just in time for the start. Enough mud to keep everyone happy and my wife kept her shoes on this time! What more could you ask for! And yes I did beat her!! The big banana was a bit brown by the end! I think everybody's was! (Did anyone see my brother in law accidently moony in the portaloo? Dodgy lock apparently!!)

In short: Fantastic mud, atmosphere and camaraderie
In full: Excellent organisation again, even stopped the rain just in time. Was looking forward to a rest at the top of the hill but the gate had been taken out. Thanks to the guy with the fire at the end too - just what I needed at the top of the slope!

In short: Excellent fun, can't wait for next year
In full: We're all so obsessed with times and performance, this was brilliant because there was no way you could do anything but have fun! It reminded me why started running and when the sun broke through the clouds over that magnificent view, it made my heart sing.

In short: Brilliant. When do entries open for 2008?
In full: Not a race for the majority but a great event for all.
I love hearing the shrieks coming from the lake as you come down the hill towards it.
Excellent marshals - big thanks to Gordon, BRR and local Round Table for all your work.

In short: A romp
In full: Relatively dry this year, but still enough mud to keep things interesting.

Even with more competitors than ever before the organisation still coped admirably.

In short: Good, muddy fun!
In full: What a lark this race is! Marshalls brilliant; jelly beans being handed out were just the tonic. Excellent organisation and goody bags, as usual.

In short: Mucky fun
In full: Brilliant organisation. They even switched the rain off as soon as the race started.

The two minute silence was very well observed and moving.

Well done all!!
