In short: Great way to finish off the year.
In full: Better organisation than last year, especially the start. Finish seems less hectic, although some of the people handing out t-shirts were a little over-zealous in checking people's sizes! Traffic wasn't as hazardous, marshals were friendly as ever. Entry price is a bit steep now, and chipping it but making you pay for the results is rather cheeky.

In short: An excellent well organised race. I didn't realise how nice a city Leeds is, some fantasic buildings. Well worth the trip!

In short: My first 10K and a great success
In full: I knew I was capable of a 10K as I managed the GNR back in September, but my aim was to break the 60 minute barrier. The dash was great for that, with the course being fairly straight, with only vague inclines. Admittedly most of the route is pretty boring but the abbey provides a welcome sight at the half way stage. Exceeded my expectations by finishing in just over 54 minutes. I was well proud!!

In short: Still one of the top races in the North of England.
In full: I thought the start was better this year - not as cramped up and easier to get away. Excellent organisation from my point of view - to put on such a large event in a major city centre is no mean feat. Well done.
