In short: really enjoyable run for a good cause, friendly atmosphere. Hot drinks for spectators would be welcome & could help raise additional funds. Could do with more loos & baggage staff. Best goody bag for ages!! Date of review: November 2, 2008

In short: Good race, nice crew, challenging hills, great goodie bag, more bag handlers please In full: I've only run a few races so hard to judge but fairly well organised with great goodie bag full of snacks - well appreciated. Could they be a few more bag handlers next time please or preprinted bag numbers? And what would make it really special would be a tea stall at the end given it's November, I'm sure our supporters would agree! I'll do it again next year Date of review: November 2, 2008

In short: Decent race, but organisation could be better In full: It was a good race, but there was sometimes a lack of marshalls so it was difficult to know where to go. There was also a lack of distance markers but this wasn't a huge problem. The organisers definitely did their best to make it a welcoming race. Date of review: July 7, 2008

In short: Nice fast flat, bit tricky with public, dogs and the odd duck in the way In full: Nice course, real PB potential (acheived my own PB), no distance markers which i decided was a positive as i find reaching the 6K markers very depressing knowing i have another 4K to do, perhaps someone stole the markers. Marshalling was limited around the course, but did see some brave marshalls doing a great job on the roads and having a right to do with some posh lady in a Merc who was getting a little impatient having to wait for all us healthy types. All in all a nice day out. Date of review: September 17, 2007

In short: No Marshalls, No k markers, no exact distance In full: Very poorly organised. No k splits despite saying so in the literature. No marshalls - had to stop twice to ask the guy behind me the way. Clearly overdistance. My time in the results bears little relationship to the time on my watch, and I started at the front.
Ran to Hyde Park afterwards to watch the Hydro Active, which showed that the basics can be provided in a charity race. Date of review: September 17, 2007
