In short: A really good, scenic, local race
In full: A killer 1km long slog uphill to start with turns into a twisty but scenic 10K. Only one water stop. Significant doubt over the accuracy of the race distance (felt like maybe 400-500m too long?) so not great PB potential. Thank you to the organisers and marhalls for a lovely sunny morning!

In short: A mad hill to start, but well marshalled and friendly
In full: With only 200-odd runners (and some not so strange ones)there was never going to be chaos in the car park. A very "village fete" atmosphere, welcoming and family friendly I thought. My son, who is 4, was proud to receive his own medal and run a race wearing a number just like his Dad! The only downside was crossing a main road after about 4 km - the marshalls did their best but there are always going to be some inconsiderate drivers who give little thought for others. I hope that the WPSA saw the event as a success - if it's on again next year I'll make every effort to be there. Thanks for a nice day.

In short: Another fantastic race
In full: Even better this year. Really family friendly with lots going on. The 3k race had 80 entries! Wonderful weather just made things better. Absolutely no complaints and I'll be back next year dragging the family with me!

In short: Well organised race. Excellent family atmosphere
In full: We enjoyed this event as a family with the youngest two doing the mini-race. My 12 year old ran the 3k with me. Yes, I was probably the only one daft enough to do both races...

I would suggest that on a warm day like today, one or two extra water stations would help some of the runners who didn't have their own supplies.

The steep start for the first 1K probably knocks off 30secs off ones time overall but does make for a thrilling sprint downhill to finish off.

In short: A great village event, steep 1K hill at start otherwise flat
In full: Takes place in a small village near High Wycombe. Very friendly organisation and nice community feel - started by local MP, also incuded kiddie fun races. Run is very rural though largely flat. Lots of views of ploughed fields. No support out on course (not a surprise as often on private roads) but nice and cheery at start/finish. Very well marshalled.
