In short: Well organised race, with pb potential
In full: There was a but of a queue upon arrival for timing chips, but this actually moved fairly quickly and was no problem, had no other problems with baggage or loos. Little bit of a walk to the school from the drop off point but hardly a cause for complaint. I thought the whole event was well organised.

The course itself was mildly challenging, a few inclines but nothing too tough, and of course a few quicker downhill sections to compensate, especially from 9 to 10 miles.

I took over a minute off my PB so it is possible to achieve some good times.

In short: Excellently organised half- lovely marshalls
In full: Superb organisation, loads of loos, huge number of smiley encouraging marshalls. Very welcome downhill section at 10 miles to speed the legs up, but the very slight incline upwards to the finish (which I swear wasn't there when I walked to the start) hurt. Results posted in the hall immediately was a very welcome touch.

In short: Hilly not PB potential but a good challenging run with a friendly atmosphere. A few queues but there will always be with a popular event

In short: Venue too small for the number of runners
In full: Pros:

Great route, enthusiastic marshals, nice memento, adequate number of water stations.

Cons:

The venue seems too small for the number of runners. Chaos in the main hall before and after the race, long toilet queues in bitterly cold wind, baggage drop-off looked like a scene from Schindler's List.

Half-mile walk to and from the bus stops - why couldn't the buses drop off and pick up at the school?

Would prefer bottles instead of cups!

In short: Well Orgainised and Run
In full: I Arrived at the competitors car park at around 8-20am was soon on a bus and to the venue, there were some queues for toilets, chips and bagage drop off, they moved quickly and considering the volume of people I felt it worked well, the bag drop off was getting busy and the people operating it came outside to collect bags to relieve the wait. It was my first half marathon and the course had some climbs but also some downhills in the right places. All in all a wonderful first experience. The only improvement I would make is water in bottles instead of cups, but then I am not sure about how viable that is from a cost point of view.

In short: Very enjoyable race
In full: My second time at this event. The organisation was very good, if a bit chaotic in the main hall. The wait time for timing chip, baggage and toilets were not as bad as imagined when looking at the queues. Nice work by all volunteers. Marshals around the course were encouraging and attentive. Water was handed out efficiently. No goody bag. Cagoule was OK, but personally preferred previous years sweatshirt. Unless I missed it, there was a lack of signs to bus pick-up point. Also, I didn't realise that there were two bus drop-off's, which was confusing because I couldn't see a thing out of the bus windows. Overall, only minor gripes in an otherwise excellent, well organised race.
