In short: Overton 5
In full: This course is deceptive.
The ascents and descents are quite steep but are short so, although it seems tough to handle, you can run a PB in this race - just keep the faith and it works out. The 4th mile is very slow but the 5th mile is very quick.

In short: First race for a few years. Cold day, but the hills kept me warm. One very enthusiastic marshall at the top of the hill - most welcome! Would do the race again to beat my time. Found it a bit 'clubby'.

In short: Great afternoon out despite the rain and wind
In full: Well done to the organisers, this was a great race. It's hilly so you're never going to PB here, and it's fast up front as it's the Hants RRL openner, but the start/finish on the village green gives it a very friendly feel.

Answer me this, though. How do you get an officer on every corner, and half the village road closed, for £6 a head (and approx 300 entries)?! Big expensive race organisers take note!!
