In short: Fantastic experience! In full: Crowds are awesome, very inspiring. Crowded. First time and due to injury not enough training, so took it easy, even-ish splits and finished strong. Definitely will do again! Loved every second. Organisation fantastic. Great, flat course. Date of review: April 27, 2012
In short: UNBELIEVABLE.......AGAIN. In full: You just have to simply run this marathon. From marathon vets to newbies it is simply awe inspiring. The crowd and atmosphere is wonderful, especially if you play up to them. Racing it again next year as past of my planned 3 marathons in 3 weeks.

In short: Got to experinece this one! In full: Spine tingling support! Great Expo! Very emotional race but found it too crowded to run in a straight line - didnt thin out at all! Superb marshalls, first aiders, water stations, and crowds! Very special event. Superb sight seeing trip round our capital! VERY very disappointed with the One size fits all finisher T Shirt - bet it dosent fit many!! Such a shame as I would love to wear it with pride!Fab medal. Theres something about this race that makes it so special. Date of review: April 27, 2012

In short: Special 'event' race that has to be done In full: My first ever marathon. Fantastic race, but congested especially around the Docklands/Isle of Dogs where it felt very warm! Organisation was really smooth, and very impressed how fast I was 'processed' through the finish. Somewhat male orientated goody bags though, both at the expo and the end. Finished inside my target time of 4:30, so very chuffed. Date of review: April 26, 2012
