In short: Great Day
In full: A good run, only problem could have done with more medics going around, as couple of runners had problems, and no one on hand for them straight away. Otherwise great done and another pb for me. So thanks Carlisle

In short: Beautiful race, lovely day out
In full: No one seemed to know what was happening with where to put your bags. Odd start we all were walked to the start line and could see that those in front had already started. At least we had the chips so the time will be right but I didn't get that great sense of everybody starting together. Other than that it really was great, I shouldn't really be complaining.

In short: Not as flat as I remembered it!!
In full: Sorry for a bit of a picky review.
Why did we have to go all the way to the Sands centre to collect the numbers/chips - If they couldn't be posted then I'm sure there is a corner of the Sheepmount could have accommodated us. The start was a bit chaotic - we were shouted at to stay right, then stay left for the faster runners - surely the lap of the park could have been left til the end so that the faster runners could have a much clearer run out. Once we got away from the start everything was fine. Great atmosphere, fantastic support and marshalls, quality goody bag.

In short: Second time for me and enjoyed it very much
In full: Start was a bit chaotic but otherwise brilliant race as usual. Disappointed with my time but that was my fault for not being serious about my training!

In short: a beautiful race on a beautiful autumn day
In full: another Great cumbrian run - though yet again the start went sort of belly up. Hadn't even got to the start when was overtaken by the 'runners'. was screamed at to keep right then had to cross in front of these faster people to do the lap around the park. Mmm, surely there is a better way.
Another gripe was the alleged bag storage. Where exactly was this. We were given a slip of paper with a number 10 on an that was it. couldn't find corresponding changing room and ended up leaving bag in a different changing room. luckily I live in the area so I didnt really have much stuff or valuables but it really needs sorted.
Well done to MIke for trying to improve on last year, he obviously takes on board comments that are given.
Aside from these little gripes it really is a wonderful race and it was nice to see so many people doing it and out and about cheering us on.
Next year i'm sure i'll make sure i put the training in. ha ha
