In short: fun and surreal
In full: Could make the finish a bit more christmas based. the 2005 event had a finish line and snow falling from it when the runners passed.

In short: Great fun run for all the family- 4000 santas is a sight to behold!
In full: This race is more of a fun run than somewhere where you will get a PB. Best to go slow, take your camera and appreciate Liverpool's landmarks.
The sight of over 4000 santa's will get you in the festive mood but be warned it's awful hot running in a felt santa suit!!
The traffic trying to get into Pall Mall car park was slow but smarter runners (myself included!) parked a bit further out (for free!) and walked in, enjoying watching a crowd of Santa's descending into Liverpool while cars full of Santa's queued patiently for the car park.
Seeing uninformed passer-bys look of amusement and the excitement of the crowd really added to the event.
It was a shame that food vendors didn't get in on the act with mince pies and roasted chestnuts but all in all it was a well organised, fun event.

In short: Remind yourslef that running is fun!
In full: This is a great morning. A Bagpipe led march to the start followed by 5k of santa suits blowing in the wind like parachutes. Top marks to the big-headed santa with four legs and the santa-stuck-in-the-chimney outfits. Do this race for fun and keep the PB for another day.

In short: Fantastic atmosphere.
In full: Surely the fact that everyone is wearing a non-wicking felt santa suit 20 times too big should be a good indication that a pb will not happen. Very obviously not a serious race and those who are looking to smash their pb should look elsewhere. Fantastic atmosphere, amazing crowds and will definately be there next year.

In short: An awesome sight to see such a a sea of Santas
In full: I travelled from Manchester (A little early on a Sunday Morning!), but it was so woth it. When I saw the sea of Santa outfits I felt part of an event which epitomised the spirit of the seasons. It was so good to see so many different classes of runners all equalised into one uniform. I hope Liverpool got the record over Las Vegas. I wonder if I was the only Jewish runner!
