In full: Will need to mentally prepare more next year as running to a certain point and then doubling back has not been my usual experience of half marathons.

In short: Beautiful scenery, lovely weather
In full: Defintely worth travelling from london to participate. My pace would have made it a PB, but my GPS measured it as 13.36 miles - I think the distance between miles 10 and 11 was long. A really good race, although the rail journey home was marred by delays caused by vandalism. I would certainly do it again, but I think it could be rather difficult if the weather was poor.

In short: The beautiful weather made it a lovely race
In full: The only small downside was that the race measured about 13.36 so was a little bit long according to my garmin and my sister's but everything else was great

In short: Not bad if you get nice weather
In full: I agree with comments about distance - Garmin clocked 13.27. I think the marshalls must have been bored and/or cold by the time I was going passed as I didn't get much cheering at all - I got more from fellow runners. (itmust have been cold standing there though). Also - lots of cyclists and dog walkers in middle of the course, especially around the middle section. Not sure how you control that, but they didn't half get in the way sometimes!

In short: One of the best events in Wales
In full:
13.09 miles on my Garmin and a pb by a massive 52 mins, I am so pleased. It helped being a lot less weight than last year :)

Could have done with an energy drink station but there was more than enough water fo all.

I was a bit greedy and had a free massage pre and post race which was great.

Lovely medal and shirt and lots for my family to do.

I do advise if this event gets bigger and it is still in the same place some though must be given to the traffic handling.

Other than that a brilliant event and will be back in 2011. I will also be doing the 10k in the summer.

Thank you to the organisers and the marshals

In short: great course, but longer this year!
In full: Really enjoyed the day and the weather was fantastic. The only gripe (but it's a big one) is about the course length. The last turning point seemed to be further out than last year from what I remember and, like others have mentioned, my Garmin gave it as 13.25m. Bit annoying to do 13.1m in 1:29.52 and not finish in under 1:30
