In short: Flat, Fast & a good standard In full: I travelled further than I normally would on the promise of a fast & flat course - which is exactly what you get. V well organised & Marshals v supportive which all helps. Under 50 mins for the first time, so fantastic! Date of review: September 1, 2008

In short: Fast race and great organization In full: Not quite as scenic as I had expected it to be, with an out and back loop at the start and then a third running of the same stretch in the final 2 km. Supportive marshalls, but too far away from anywhere to have much other support. But these were the only small negatives. Very flat, fast course, very smooth organization and overall friendly atmosphere. Date of review: August 31, 2008

In short: Very quick course In full: I last did this one two years ago, and though a nice flat course, the vicious headwind on the airfield put paid to a PB.
This year no such problems. I just missed out on a PB, but posted my fastest time this year. Poor pacing discipline rather than poor weather!
Well organised event with ample car parking that is also easy to find (Worminghall is not that big).
Several tents around which came in useful for non-runners. I am told that the refreshments - especially the cakes - were lovely too. Date of review: August 31, 2008

In short: A good flat fast course. In full: Good race, bit of drissely rain at the end but not enough to slow your pace. Well organised and friendly. Definate PB potential if that's your thing. Nice box of chocs at the end instead of a medal or T shirt - not sure why, but much appreciated none the less. The best and closest parking so far this year. I will be back. In short: A good, flat run without too much excitement In full: My 1st 10k since 2006 so not much to compare it with but I thought well organised, not much traffic on the road bit, decent box of chocs at the end was a nice touch. Not far from home for me either. Didn't half get wet though! Date of review: August 31, 2008

In short: Excellent, great PB potential. Interesting scenery. In full: I loved this race and did a PB, finally getting under 50 minutes! The scenery is great, I've never run in a disused airfield, otherwise its up and down quiet country lanes. I've rated scenery 5 as other people marked low, but it was fine - what do people expect a disused airfield to look like anyway? There's a 180 turn after 1500m, then its pretty smooth, mostly flat, watch your footing though! The last 2km was great, back on the airfield and really flat. Lovely box of Fairtrade chocs at the end too! T shirt would have made my day but will definitely be coming back. Date of review: August 31, 2008
