In short: Hills and loops but fun
In full: Thought I knew the area, but you run around in some many little loops that I got seriously disorientated between 5 and 9 miles. Lovely race though, great scenary even if the hills were a little more taxing than I'd have liked.

In short: excellent race, lovely route, warm sunshine... one minor niggle - with spillage from plastic cups I struggled to get enough water on board for the warm conditions

In short: Hard but worth it.
In full: I had only done the Otley 10mi before and thought it couldn't possibly be any harder. I was wrong. So very wrong. There were more ups than downs and the ups went on for ever and ever and ever and ever etc.
Faultless organisation and marshalling. The goodie bags contained a mug and some samples. Much more welcomed than the usual cotton t-shirt.
Would do again....If I wasn't such a wimp.

In short: Quite hilly and poor first water station
In full: A very scenic race on closed roads. The organisation was good other than the first water station which was manned by 1 adult and a child. Hopelessly inadequate and it meant that many, myself included, couldn't get water at that point. Despite knowing most of the route quite well I was still surprised by the number of climbs; not steep but long. Nice mug at the end.
