In short: Graet run, great crowds, great City....great!
In full: First time running at Bath even though I used to live there! Good course, set new PB. Crowds were fantastic, drinks stations excellent. Park and Ride was stressful with 50 minute wait to get on bus thus leading to late arrival at start and beginning at the very back! Race atmosphere was brilliant and will be doing it again next year to improve on the PB! Congrats to all of the organisers.

In short: Great Atmoshpere, fantastic organisation a credit to the beautiful city
In full: Generally I dont like multi lap races and this was no exception, the 3 mile leg at the end of the loop was almost unbearable on the 2nd lap, however, the crowds in the city centre and the fantastic bands more than made up for it.
Well organised and a very friendly group of competitors from elites to first timers.
After the debacle of the GNR in 2005 I cant praise the organisers highly enough for the drink station provisions, well done.
Please make the very steep entry fee go a little further by providing t-shirts, with the aount of sponsors emblazened across the back of the surely some deal can be done?

In short: Excellent atmosphere, much better than Bristol, lively city centre half marathon
In full: REeally enjoyed this. Was a bit late at the start whcih meant it was very crowded. Doing a double loop through the city meant there was always crowd meber to cheer you on, an amny stereos blaring out of windows.

It did take a time to get bag back but seemed to be a problem specific to my queue.

No hills to speak of, highly recommended

In short: A good atmosphere and a good course to do a PB. Once at the start it was organised very well
In full: This was my first time at Bath and i opted for the park and ride which fell well short of expectations i arrived and parked at 09.00 but did not arrive at the start until 10.20 this was due to spectators getting onto the busses before runners. Once at the start it all clicked into place the marshells were helpful and the runners village well organised. The goodey bad was well stocked. The entry fee without a T shirt was a bit steep but this would not deter me next year. Well done to all the organisers fir a job well done and i also set my own personel PB well pleased

In short: A new PB and i beat Buzz Lightyear!
In full: What a lovely race. I really enjoyed this, nicely undulating, loads of water and energy drinks, and huge crowds, even on the quieter bits. Was ahead of Buzz lightyear at one point and determined not to let him beat me....and he didnt! (the shame of being beaten by Scooby Doo was enough!) Will Definately do it again!

In short: Well organised, fast undulating course with good crowds
In full: This was the first time I've run the Bath half and I'd heard mixed reports beforehand but was pleasantly surprise to find a well organised and very well supported race. The gently undulating course also made for any easy and fast run.
Negatives, well the obligatory long queue for the toilets was present, and considering you had to buy your own T-shirt I thought the entry fee was a little steep but overall It's hard to see how the event could be much better run.
Oh, almost forgot, the train service from Britol was typically diabolical - how can anyone think two trains of four carriages will be enough to cater for a 10,000 strong half marathon? I apprecate First are an industry byword for poor service but surely the organiser and your friendly neighbourhood rail operator could come to some arrangement that doesn't involve packing people into carriages like sardines. Ho, hum and not really the organisers fault I suppose.
Will definitely return next year - although may drive.
