In short: Great race(as usual), killer hills
In full: Great stadium start/finish. Great flat wide roads, canal towpath and the killer hills all add up to a great race. Despite choosing to walk up both the hills I still managed a respectable 1h45m.

In short: Well organised race with everything you could ask for in a half marathon. Beautiful scenery, 2 challenging hills, long stretches of open road and good support along the way
In full: This was my 2nd time running the newton fraction half marathon and enjoyed every minute of it. My 6th half marathon in total and by far my favourite. Beautiful scenery running along the canal heading out of town towards Belvoir castle on the horizon. 2 very challenging hills approx mile 6 and 11 which can catch people out. Long stretches of flat open road which is great to kick on in the race. Great support finishing inside the stadium also. Overall very enjoyable race and will be back next year without a doubt and recommend this one to put down in your calendars.

In short: NICE HALF MARATHON
In full: I m from Sheffield which is built on 7 hills, but the one at 6 miles and the killer hill at 10 take some beating. But saying that the rest of the run was fine and the weather very warm for this time of year.i m training for manachester marathan at the end of april so it was a good run to do at this stage. The organization and marshalls were fantastic and the t-shirt and goody bag were great, and the bonus bottle of beer as a spot price nice.
