In short: A good day out - snorkel was required!
In full: Good org and fine race, but lacked the atmosphere of , say, The Great North. Start and first 2 miles very slow due to congestion. Impressive amount of support on the streets despite the awful conditions!

In short: This event reminds me of why i love running! It's just brilliant!
In full: As soon as i came to a stop in the car after the early morning two hour drive down, a smile came across my face, as my second time at this event, i just love the scenary, the organisation is fantastic, and the course is perfectly flat for PB potential! Only minor picking was the medal was poor in comparison to the year before, just to look at it looks plastic, but it's not so bad when you take it out of the packet! Still this run is worth every penny, rain or shine i didn't mind in the fantastic company of Jo Pavey!

In short: Thanks to all the organisers (and spectators for turning up in bad weather))
In full: Despite the terrible weather had a good run. Last 2 miles hard against the wind and rain. Excellent t-shirt - good quality, good design AND it actually fits. Shame we had to go across mud bath at the end but there has to be a downside I suppose. PLEASE consider moving date forward in future. What about end of September?

In short: Rain and more rain and a PB
In full: What a race, dispite the weather but who can change that, the overall race was fantastic. It was my second GSR and just as enjoyable as last year.
I set a PB by over 9 minutes so I can't complain and will be back next year. Shame the TV coverage was only on CH5 at midnight. Give the TV rights to the BBC and make a show of it like they do the Great North.

In short: Now got webbed feet, but great fun
In full: Somewhat wet! Beside that, great organisation, excellent 'Gong' (frying pan sized), and good support despite the conditions. Can't wait for next year.

In short: A great course to set you PB, I will be back next year
In full: Really enjoyed this race very impressed with the organisation and this has to be the flattest course I have ever run. Shame about the weather, but it did make perfect running conditions until miles 8-10 just too cold for the start and finish but that can't be helped. The worst thing was probably walking on a muddy field after just running 10 miles on a clean road!
