In short: great for a 20 mile virgin
In full: My first ever 20 miler as I prepare for my first marathon. I enjoyed it more than I could have hoped. A very pretty but basically gentle course, nice runners and excellent marshals.
I would strongly recommend this for people who are training for a spring marathon.

In short: Fantastic organisation and super atmosphere
In full: As someone who usually brings up the rear, and likes a lttle chat, this was a great race. Plenty of runners to chat on the way round, all supportive. Water stations efficiently manned and wonderful encouragement from all marshals. Thank you. Will be back again.

In short: Always great, continues to be excellent
In full: This is my fourth time at the 20, and I still love this race as marathon prep. The course is excellent, the marshalling flawless, the venue just what you need, and even the walk from the parking is not a huge issue. This year I took a further 5 mins off my PB so I am happy too. Well done to the organisers for putting the 20 milers on the right hand side this time so the quick 10 milers can get away. The set off was just great. A big thanks to all who make this race such a great event, and I am sure i will be back again and again!

In short: loved it
In full: Well organised and planned race. No problems at all. Thought two laps would be a bit of a bore, however it was all good!.

In short: Friendly and well organized
In full: First time doing this distance (20), weather was perfect, and really enjoyed it. The marshaling/ organization was great and everyone was very friendly, frequent water stations (I must master drinking while running), and a super medal at the end. Defiantly recommend and will be back next year. One comment, please send the race pack out earlier, mine only arrived yesterday (1 day after the event).

In short: Great course and well organised
In full: Really enjoyed this race, well organised but I would suggest if you have never run this, get there a little early as 1600 people milling about is allot in a small area.

All the race was on country roads with only slight inclines, there is one hill at around the 7-8 mile mark that you will feel for the 20 milers but for the 10 milers it should not be much of a problem.

Lots of encouragement from the marshalls as well en route.

Great goody bag and nice medal.

The only down side was the start of the race with both 10 and 20 milers was very congested and made it difficult for the first half mile.

In short: Well done to the organisers
In full: Lots of folk here in preparation for the spring marathons so it gives the air a certain buzz of excitement and trepidation in equal parts. The organisation at the start, the end and everywhere inbetween was excellent. Thanks go to the friendly marshals and RRR for an excellent event
