In short: Great to do just to run through the tunnel.
In full: there aren't many chances to run under water so do this next year! Plus you get to run along the Mersey later. did a PB would have gone quicker but for the long climb (and recovery) in the tunnel. Good turn out by Wallasey although they were a bit on the slow side - that banner wasn't THAT heavy.

In short: Good race,Gorgeous day,Great Support.
In full: Ran this with Mrs Garratt,10.20 pace as opposed to my normal 8.00 pace.It nearly killed me,I found myself chomping at the bit all the way around especially on the hill out of the tunnel.Really enjoyed it in the end and found the support at the finish was brilliant. The whole thing was well organised but have to agree with a few other comments about not enough toilets.I think the weather helped a great deal, I can't imagine what the final 3k would be like in the rain as its very exposed.Mrs Garratt was gutted as a child in a pushchair beat her to the finish...But I'm very proud of her..Well done to all who took part..

In short: **
In full: Not a lot to talk abot really. I did see bits of Wallasey that I hadn't seen before and I'll definitely have to go back to get a photo of the submarine. Apart from this, the course although different (Tunnel), wasn't that much to write home about. I did the Blackpool 10k beach race the previous week and came away with a p.b. (ha ha)--the course must have been at least 1.5k short! At least this course was accurate. Maybe a T shirt should have been included.

In short: I really am faster than the rush-hour traffic
In full: I did this race a few years ago and am very happy its back on the schedule. Its a good race, on a challenging course, with the added novelty value of being able to run from Liverpool to the Wirral.

Thankfully I never went off too quickly so didn't mind the large climbs out of the tunnel - it let me overtake a lot of people in fact.

The bit on the Prom was a lot harder for me than the climbs - I never run well in warm weather so was slightly disappointed with my time after a promising start.

Still, this is one of my favourite courses and I hope they carry out their threat to stage it again next year.

In short: Good value and well organised. After the first 5K it is fairly flat and it is all about recovering from the efforts in the tunnel. Free trains were a bonus

In short: Late but worth the wait.
In full: Must say I was a little worried about the organisation but in the end it went like clockwork. Mr Rothwell give yourself a pat on the back.

Only minor crit was only 10 Loo's for just short of 1800 is a little low.

Great just to run through the tunnel and the last 2 miles along the front are very nice indeed.
