In short: Friendly community event
In full: This is my favourite event in the calendar. Everyone is friendly, the organisation is impeccable, the hills are hard but the donut at the end makes it all worthwhile.

In short: Shame about start and finish not an acurate 10km I made it 10.25kms.
In full: despite the start and finish I enjoyed the race, perhaps next year the distance and the km markers could be more acurate. Good support along the route.

In short: I think this is a pretty good one
In full: Obviously I'm biased as I've being doing this one for years but I think the organisers do a pretty good job.Yes the course is narrow but good considering its in London and doesnt involve just going round a park 3 times. It's not a course for PB's as I think its longer than 10K and is at best "undulating" but I got a drink and banana on finishing, a donut, cup of tea and a t-shirt which I think is bloody good value. Also the kids races were great, having local acts playing on the stage and other entertainment.Plenty of people having picnics in the park and on Alexandra palace (re your scenery question).Fair enough about queing at the finish, although the "racetimes" people do a good job and times are usually very accurate as they click and match.

In short: Good local run and friendly crowd
In full: This is a nice local race and although the roads weren't closed, the marshalls and police did a very good job of giving us priority. Thanks to all those volunteers who gave up their Sunday morning to help make everything work well. Also, thanks to the children handing out cups of water and jellybabies along the route ;o)

In short: Big improvement on last year, although also had a near miss with reversing car! Very slow for 1st 2km. More toilets needed at start!

In short: PB by 1min. Good organisation this year, well marshalled apart from one encounter with oncoming traffic. Great doughnut and t-shirt although had to argue my shirt size as 'they were trying to keep mediums for the girls' Get more medium!
