In short: race - will definitely do it again In full: Very well organised race - no problems finding registration - with good facilities inside the Queens Stand before the start. Marshalls well placed all along the route, gave good support. One slight complaint is there was no post race fuel other than water - suggest some form of nourishment in the good bag or even facility to purchase some at the end. First half of the course was challenging due to the steep hills (steep for me anyway). A enjoyable and memorable race overall. Date of review: November 16, 2008

In short: Are there any better facillities anywhere else? In full: First time ever running this race(and i have been to a few!) I defy anyone to find better facillities, carpark outside the registration with ample spaces, toilets with no waiting, and toilet paper!,changing rooms, with showers attached, and the chance to be in the weighing room at a course that stages one of the greatest races in the world. As for the run,it was extremely well marshalled, and worth the time and effort. The hills was at times difficult, but if it was too easy it would be boring! Date of review: November 16, 2008

In short: A very well marshalled race with a pleasant country route and a few hills! In full: This is the first time I have done the Epsom 10. The route was very pleasant involving mainly countryside and small villages. There were very few members of the public offering support along the route but this was more than made up for by the impressive number of marshalls and the encouragement that they provided! I liked the pen at the end and intend to return next year to collect another. Date of review: November 16, 2008

In short: A pretty good race and worth doing In full: Well organised race with some nice scenery and a good value race. A few too many roads and a little dangerous with lots of idiot drivers speeding to get around runners. Same pen as last year which was a shame. Date of review: November 16, 2008

In short: Enjoyably challenging and undulating run on the Downs In full: Challenging first four miles give well to a pleasant run around the Downs. Crackerjack pen for finishers as well. Cool! Date of review: November 16, 2008

In short: More hills than I remembered! In full: Many more hills than I remembered from last year in the first four miles, meant I paced myself wrongly and had to walk up the last 2 steep ones. Pleased still to improve nearly 6 minutes on last year and shave 49 secs off my PB Date of review: November 16, 2008

In short: COLD - good fun In full: Would have seriously struggled to find race HQ, but was tipped off about where to go beforehand by someone who had done it before. I really enjoyed the run - hills in the first four miles weren't too bad and the marshalls were top-notch all the way round. Another one to return to next year. Date of review: November 18, 2007

In short: Freezing cold, but very enjoyable In full: A very enjoyable race and well marshalled, but the organisation beforehand (ie where to park, sign up) and refreshments after (water tank) were the poorest I've come across in my races this year. Also worried by lack of website information & no results from last year, so will this years be up?
Once I had warmed up after 3 miles, probably my most enjoyable run of the year. Very miled undulations, nothing to burn the lungs. I will be back. Date of review: November 18, 2007

In short: cold enough to freeze the balls off a brass monkey this morning In full: Guidance in all the right places, ergo no problems for the runners on the course who were able to warm up. Unlike the marshals who must have been frozen stiff throughout. On a milder day, it would have been much more pleasant. Date of review: November 18, 2007

In short: Nice enough road course. Not overly challenging, just a few smallish hills. Registration/Start needs better organisation In full: Enjoyed it and got a 10 miler PB. Very windy conditions meant the organisers could not put up their marquee/tent. Consequently registration was out the back of a car. No issue with this but some signage to show where registration was would have been helpful. I got there mega-early so got a parking space but others had problems. The miserable gits that own The Rubbing House pub would not allow use of their car park nor would they host the registration team etc. I sincerely hope all the potential trade that we runners brought went elsewhere for refreshment and scoff after the race. That aside the marshalls were plentiful and very supportive. PLEASE put the results on-line. Date of review: November 18, 2007
