In short: Fantastic organisation. Bit of a dull course, but that is Bracknell. But I love the up and down nature of the course
In full: Organisation was brilliant. I last did the race in 2004, and even back then it was well organised. A fantastic medal as well as a T-Shirt that fits. If you can get around the fact that Bracknell isn't exactly a scenic course, its a nice run.

In short: Sixth time for me so must be worth turning up for
In full: Faultless organisation, marshalls plentiful and encouraging. Lots of water en route and bottled water at the end plus a t shirt that fits.
Mind you those hills never seem to get any easier..

In short: Excellent main running event, good all round event.
In full: This would be a good run for the first time Half Marathon runner, plus, seasoned runners wanting to get a good PB. Lots of fun runners and teams entered too and a lot finished around the 2h 10min mark so there's an inidcation of the course speed. Very friendly and spectators all the way round. Well done organisers, well done.

In short: Great weather, great spectators, great organisation. great!!
In full: A bit of an early start at 09.00, but definitely a good thing bearing in mind that it warmed up very quickly. Glorious sunshine and no winds meant good pb conditions, especially with the many water stations dotted along the route.

The organisation was a definite strong point; the race starting on time and without the bottle-necks or problems that have been a feature of other races i have entered in the past.

There were plenty of marshalls around the course and they did a superb job of traffic control and giving out plenty of encouragement, especially on some of the uphill parts.

Value for money was very good too, a not-too-expensive entry fee giving a medal, t-shirt and an enjoyable experience.

Having a limit of 1000 competitors meant a manageable field and is definitely worthy for a first-time runner. Mostly run along the roadside, there were still some areas of nice scenery, such as around the four/five mile point.

All in all, one of the most enjoyable halfs I have had the pleasure of doing. And a pb as well.
