In short: fab organisation - real toilets with small queues. Great scenery along the river and even the rain didn't spoil it. Loved the mug in the goody bag.

In short: Superb organisation, great venue start and finish. Fast course.
In full: Pb'd again at this course so pleased. It's a quick start down hill and a really good run through a park and along the canal. 1 tiny negative thing is the rocks you have to go through before 2k and the exit in the park at 3k, other than this its one of my favourite if not the best race to do. Water staion is in a great place as you pass it twice. the run along the river is a really fast section as it flat, can get a bit of a headwind but wasn't too bad this year. The last section ha a bit oif an incline but a great finsh on the cricket pitch. Plus it's only 1km from my parent house so even better. Well done Penny Lane!!!

In short: really enjoyable race
In full: This was a great race, even for me. Got a PB (only 1:02:06) but still a PB. Marshalls were so supportive and helpful and actually looked like they were enjoying standing out in the rain!
would love to do this again next year- goody bag was really good too. Telling everyone I won a cup!

In short: It's PB-tastic Mate!
In full: Couple of minor inclines plus some flat promenade make for a fast course - scenic too, with views of the estuary and nice wooded bit through park.
EXTRAORDINARILY well organised/marshalled etc, plus results and photos both available very quickly.
Big thanks to Penny Lane Striders!

In short: Marvellous!
In full: Great organisation and a great starting point - no queues for the ladies 10 mins before the race is an acheivement in itself! The club can't help the weather but I think the atmosphere and the marshalls more than made up for the rain. And personally I was pleased with a cup instead of another t-shirt to add to the collection.

In short: Brilliant PB Race
In full: A very well organised race, i beat my PB by one and a half minutes. :-) however i thought the goody bag at the end was a bit of a let down i was looking forward to receiving a t-shirt and ended up with just a cup. But on the whole a good race and i will be back next year.
