In short: Well organised good event provides good racing as you know a pb is out of the question. Shame the presentation was in a stuffy little room

In short: TOUGH!!!!!
In full: I really feel like I've had a decent workout. When they say save something in your tank for the end they are not kidding!! Fantastic views and downhills that hurt just as much as the uphills. This is one that should be done at least once by everyone even if it's just to say you did it!

In short: Just fabulous!
In full: Oh boy, those last 3 miles really were tough. But then sometimes you need a challenge. I've just had a great day.

In short: What goes up must come down!
In full: Tough run with lovely scenery, it's a shame having crossed the line and worked so hard for an hour, 45 that it seems like an anti climax.
having got your t shirt before the start, folks seem to just finish and go!

In short: Excellent
In full: Thought it was up and then down, alas not to be it was up and down all the way, last 5 miles strained the legs and tested the character. Good race, nice course definite for my race calender for next year

In short: Oh my legs hurt - but great!
In full: Lovely course with beautiful views. Feels like a real achievement to have done the course. Definitely "hilly" - even the undulations had undulations. Great organisation and friendly marshalls plus a lovely custard coloured T-Shirt! I was expecting the 3 miles up and 3 miles down in the middle but not the constant up and downs in the first and last sections - but what goes up must surely come down a little quicker! Makes a real change from the flatter town runs and I would certainly recommend it for seasoned half marathon runners - although not a good choice for a first half!
