In short: Excellent, traffic-free, well organised
In full: Excellent, traffic-free, well organised, well-marshalled. A little bit hillier than expected (particularly 2 nasty climbs in the lat mile and a half). But a good, relaxed, friendly race. I particularly enjoyed the 'arena' finish! And there can't be too many races where you get to see and hear dinosaurs.

The weather was perfect, which always helps of course. It was 99% traffic free - and well away from roads as it meandered around the Town Park and along the Silkin Way.

The race entry of approx 200 was nice as well. The Telford 10km that I did a couple of years ago suffered from a 450 race entry that had to negotiate the narrow lanes. 200 was much more manageable, and starting the race with a lap of the arena helped stretch the field out a bit.

All-in-all, I was very impressed and can't wait to do some similar events organised by the Road Runners.

[NB: For future reference, someone complained about the £3.50 parking. Parking at the nearby Town Centre only costs £1. Maybe the race entry could recommend parking next time to those coming from out of town?]

In short: main race well marshalled, but kids fun run well..............
In full: as above main race was very well marshalled but at the begining the start was at the ice rink, so we were waiting there for the kids fun run, so the kids missed the start as it was in the arena not at the ice rink, also the finish for the fun run was not signposted so unaware as to know where the kids would be finishing. its ok if you have been before and know the area.

In short: Good fast course, lovely scenery.
In full: A really good, well organised event. Well marshalled and mile markers where they should be. Good atmosphere and quality home made soup at the end!
Minor gripes: £3.50 to park the car and they seemed to run out of water fairly early at the finish.
