In short: better course and organisation than last year
In full: the course was much better organised this year. great marshalls and nice medal/goodie bag. better start and finish. not so many loops round the airfield. nice run back along the seafront. there was a mini lake on the course to wade through though but that was due to the recent bad weather and couldn't be helped. my only critisim would be to have a water station about mile 7? but othewise i'll be back next year and hopefully with no colds to drag me down!

In short: A definite improvement on last year - enjoyed the run.
In full: Well done to the organisers for making positive changes to the course from last year. Well marshalled as always. I don't believe the course is as fast as it used to be prior to last years changes but there is definite promise for fast times.

In short: V. flat and v. fast
In full: Would do again if they use chip timing (to big not to have it) and if i don't pb locally.
Only small hiccup I saw one runner sent the wrong way as we came out of the airfield for the second time hope it didn't spoil her day.

In short: Hats off to the organisers
In full: Lots of critisism last year and all of it taken on borad and acted upon; parking, race route, goody bag, start etc Superb effort by the organisers and a top value race. Can't get the hang of the race for a pb myself but maybe I need all in my favour these days and the wind, water feature(!)and race number blowing off cost me this time!

In short: Good flat course with definate PB potential
In full: Had a good race and got a new PB despite being worried that I wasn't quite at my best this week! Very well marshalled EXCEPT when I was briefly sent the wrong way by a young marshall who signalled me to go right and looked at me as he did when everyone else was going left. Only went a few metres before I turned round but it could have been disastrous!! Still managed to catch up with the people i'd been running with and I think that spurred me on to do the last 3 miles in a really fast time! Other than that a really well organised race with a great goody bag and nice t-shirt available to buy too. Well done Gosport Road runners - will be back next year.

In short: Fast course, great goody bag and fantastic support from marshalls!
In full: I ran a P.W. because I pulled my left hamstring
at 8 miles ,at that moment I was running my best time for the year ! But had to walk the last 5 miles but I finished so that was a result for me !

In short: Very nicely organised race, would do again.
In full: Really enjoyed this race, not least cos i got my PB. No problems at the start, plenty of room. Loads of water stations and the marshalls were so friendly and encouraging all the way round. The goodie bag was one of the best i've had, full of everything you want and nothing you don't! Only grumble, would be the dull airfield sections. Overall, really nice race, would def do again.
