In short: Fast, excellent organisation but dull - grit your teeth for the 8am start! In full: I'm not a slouch as a runner, but I'm certainly not a pro - on this race though the standard of runner was very high. To do this 10 mile race requires a bit of dedication. You'll arrive at a blustery Battersea Park in time for the 8am start, then do 6 monotonous laps around a park - it's certainly not uplifting! However, the organisation and the marshalls were fantastic - well worth the effort as a training run or going for that PB! Date of review: March 6, 2010
In short: The RunAndBecome races are always a pleasure In full: The Self Transcendence races organised by Run and Become are always a pleasure - very friendly marshalling (and always nice to recognise the faces from the shop).
Running 5 laps in Battersea park for a 10 miler might not be to everyone's taste though.
You have to run 4 times past the finish line before you actually have made it ;)
In short: A nice race, well organised In full: This was a very nice race to be part of. Well organised, well attended and flat! The only issue was the 8am start which was a bit early, however it did then leave the rest of the weekend free to feel good about yourself Date of review: September 21, 2009
