In short: A lovely morning In full: A clock at the finish would have been nice and the warm weather meant water was a bit sparse but otherwise a nice event. Date of review: February 19, 2007

In short: Good fast course on a sunny February day! In full: Decent flat course and as much as possible out of the Industrial Estate. Shame about a few of the locals driving a bit fast past the runners on the small lanes. Looking forward to the bread!! Date of review: February 18, 2007

In short: Excellent race, halped by unseasonally warm weather, flat country lane course, easy access and good organisation. 10 minutes off my PB didn't do any harm either! In full: Now, I knpw I've only just got back in to running races after 5 years or so away from the sport, but I'm sure some things have changed a bit. Two weeks ago I was presented with a towel as a race momento which I thought was a novel change from the standard t shirt or medal, and this week... a loaf of bread! Full marks for originality there. OK, so it was actually barabrith and hence had a local relavence, and actually we don't race for the momentos anyway - do we?
As for the race itself - a big thank you to me from the guy from one of the Welsh clubs who paced me round for 10 of the 13 miles - just sorry I couldn't return the favour at some point! The course was excellent, and relatively traffic free, marshals were numerous and very effective, result - 1 happy PB performing runner, even with the hangover of a cold from the preceeding week.
Oh, and the bread - tasty, thanks. Date of review: February 18, 2007

In short: Lovely flat course very useful for training for longer distances In full: Gorgeous weather. Obviously at this time of year most of runners are serious but time limit for finishing should have been announced as it was a bit depressing for first timers to find no one at finish (Well they were there but they obviously didn't like the idea)Other than that, lovely friendly race - Thankyou volunteers especially those who clapped and cheered Date of review: February 18, 2007
