In short: Well done Hermitage Harriers - a great event
In full: Good, challenging course - hillier than I expected. Really well organised, excellent t-shirt & goody bag containing milkshake and chocolate (what more could you want). Congratulations on a great event - see you next year.

In short: A tough course with brilliant organisation and marshalling.
In full: Proud to be part of the Hermitage club.
Entertainment and T-shirts provided for cheap as chips entry price and a lovely cheeseburger afterwards.
Course sorts the wheat from the chaff and will be tough to PB but come to experience the first 5km- a pure climb. Myself, I love hills and thoroughly enjoyed it.
Well done to organisers Andy, Bob, Paul, John, Caroline and the team. Who'd have thought this was the clubs first organised race.
Only note for next year try to move finish to the field near the start- Greater viewing area.

In short: brill
In full: well done for a first race! great "T" shirt for a bargin entry fee, would do it again next year for the shirt, the hills made the course tough and memorable. organised well by all involved and the BBQ etc made it a good small race-enjoyed it-thanks, can only get better next year i suspect with a bigger entry. advise-make the finish nearer to the leisure centre somehow so that family can see the finish

In short: Amazing race for saying it was the first time of running.
In full: I have to put a disclaimer here inasmuch as I am a member of the organising club, however, I can honestly say that this is the best organised small race I have ever been to (and would certainly put much bigger events in the shade).

Tons of supportive marshalls ensuring safety.
The welcome area with disco, bouncy castle, bbq, bar and photos / shop (and massage)should be the envy of bigger races.
The finish area with inflatable finish and commentary was as good as any.
Accurate kilometre markers.
...and the goody bag gave a choice of T-shirt sizes up to XL - something you don't even get on the Great Manchester Run!

If I can give a suggestion for future years the only thing to be aware of is the start area might not be able to cope with double the number of entrants.

Overall a big thank you to the organisers for a superb race - I look forward to the next.
